“The Message that points to Christ on the Cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of salvation it makes perfect sense. This is the way God works, and most powerfully as it turns out. It’s written,I’ll turn conventional wisdom on its head,I’ll expose so-called experts as crackpots.”
I Corinthians 1:18-19 The Message Bible

Today I would like to talk to you about being unreasonable.  For this to be the best year ever, it is going to take you being unreasonable.   In Genesis, chapter 3, the Word tells us that when Adam and Eve sampled the fruit that God didn’t want them to eat,  one set of eyes were closed and another set were open.  In other words, they went from revelation to reasoning.  They went from the supernatural to just the natural; from a living being to just a human being.  Their whole world would be based on reason.  What the natural sense’s would show them, they would believe as truth.  Now they could be easily deceived and extremely limited.  What use to happen for them without effort would require the sweat of human effort.  All of life would be a never ending struggle.  The cross changed all that.  Jesus came and restored us to life and that more abundantly.  He changed us from mere humanity to life giving spiritual beings.   We went from walking by sight to walking by faith; we’ve gone from earning a living to living in and enjoying what’s already been earned for us by our Savior.  The just shall live by faith!  So now, I never let what my eyes see determine what truth is saying!  Truth is found only in God’s word.  If you want to see that dream come to pass this year, your healing to manifest, your family to turn around, to have the best year ever, you are going to have to be unreasonable.  It’s faith and faith never makes sense, in fact, sometimes it sets you up for ridicule, to appear silly! Yet God says He’ll turn conventional reasoning on its head…He’ll expose the so called experts as crack pots.  Your job is to be unreasonable.  Jeremiah put it this way:  “Let your words change them, don’t change your words to suit them!  I’ll turn you into a steel wall, a thick steel wall, impregnable.  They’ll attack you but won’t put a dent in you because I’m at your side, defending and delivering.”  God’s Decree “I’ll deliver you from the grip of the wicked.  I’ll get you out the clutch of the ruthless.”  Unreasonable love purchased it all for you and ….Love Never Fails!
